The Plainfield Pride Love Fund is a dedicated initiative designed to provide financial assistance to individuals and families within our community facing challenging circumstances. Whether it's a sudden loss of income, a medical emergency, or other unforeseen hardships, this fund aims to offer a lifeline during difficult times.

How it works:

• Applications: Individuals or families in need can submit applications detailing their situation and the specific financial assistance required. All information should be submitted to president@plainfieldpride.org.
• Review and Approval: A review committee will carefully evaluate each application, considering factors such as need, circumstances, and available resources.
• Disbursement: Approved applicants will receive the necessary funds to help address their immediate needs.

In the wake of the recent devastating hurricanes that have struck North Carolina, our LGBTQ+ community is facing immense challenges. Many members of our community, particularly those who are already marginalized, are experiencing increased hardship in the aftermath of this natural disaster.

From damaged homes and displaced families to disrupted access to healthcare and support services, the road to recovery will be long and difficult. But we have the power to make a difference—together.

We are reaching out to ask for your help in supporting Hurricane Relief efforts specifically dedicated to LGBTQ+ individuals and families in North Carolina. Your generous donation will go directly toward providing emergency shelter, food, clothing, and mental health services to those in need, while also ensuring that LGBTQ+ people have access to the resources and advocacy they deserve during this critical time.

All funds donated will go to two queer nonprofits in Western North Carolina in addition to a donation from Plainfield Pride. Thank you for your support!
